Lori, Lisa (her sister) and 3,781 runners ran the 30th Richmond Marathon on November 10th. Lori and Lisa finished the 26.2 mile run with a chip time of 4:01:48 (h:mm:sec). They both had a great time and we (Mom, Dad, Tim (Lisa's husband) and Rob) enjoyed cheering them on. This was Lori's fifth marathon. To see more pictures, click here.

My good friends Cindy (Cindo) and George (Willo) Popajohn visited NYC last weekend. While there, they went to the NBC store and brought me back a surprise....a Dwight Schrute bobblehead.
So, here he sits on my desk at work, bossing me around and explaining the best times to plant and harvest beets. I dig this bobblehead. Thanks again Cindo and Willo!!

Army tests James Bond style tank that is 'invisible'
Daily Mail Newspaper - October 30, 2007
New technology that can make tanks invisible has been unveiled by the Ministry of Defence.
In secret trials last week, the Army said it had made a vehicle completely disappear and predicted that an invisible tank would be ready for service by 2012.
The new technology uses cameras and projectors to beam images of the surrounding landscape onto a tank.

Now you see it: How the tank might look with background images beamed onto the side
The result is that anyone looking in the direction of the vehicle only sees what is beyond it and not the tank itself.

"The Simpsons" Movie is finally here! We are so excited, and yes, we will definitely see it this weekend. We, like so many people, are huge Simpsons fans. Below is a picture from a Simpsons Halloween party we hosted a couple of years ago. Rob went as Mr. Burns and Lori as Otto. We had beer and donuts as snack food, played some funs games and had a great time.
