American Idol always brings good and bad singers to our Tivos. This year is no exception. Alexis Cohen, aka Glitter Girl, auditioned and like many, many others was sent home. After walking out of the room without a "golden ticket", she went on a inspirational tirade. A couple of North Carolina boys, Rhett and Link, put her words to music.

Lori, and her sister Lisa, ran the Disney World Marathon on January, 13th, 2008. Tim (Lisa's husband) and I watched. Great job girls!

Lori's Mickey Medal

This past Christmas, Lori's family drove up from Florida to spend it with Rob's family. We had a blast.

Below is a picture of our group on Christmas. Rob decided to not take a shower that day, thus the reason for his bed head.

Lori, Lisa (her sister) and 3,781 runners ran the 30th Richmond Marathon on November 10th. Lori and Lisa finished the 26.2 mile run with a chip time of 4:01:48 (h:mm:sec). They both had a great time and we (Mom, Dad, Tim (Lisa's husband) and Rob) enjoyed cheering them on. This was Lori's fifth marathon.

Lori's Marathon Medal

On November 3, Lori ran the 23rd Annual Maritime Classic 10k Run on Bald Head Island. She came in first place in her age group and second place over all. Her time was 47:19 (mm:sec), or 7:37 per mile. Great job Lori!!

My good friends Cindy (Cindo) and George (Willo) Popajohn visited NYC last weekend. While there, they went to the NBC store and brought me back a surprise....a Dwight Schrute bobblehead.

So, here he sits on my desk at work, bossing me around and explaining the best times to plant and harvest beets. I dig this bobblehead. Thanks again Cindo and Willo!!

A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had great seats right behind their team's bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience.
